Delicious Recipes; Hazelnut Spread Pancakes

January 5, 2013

Hello Everybody!! 🙂 How was your day ? Ready for something really sweet with a side of ice cream ?? I did!

There are days when I wake up and I keep thinking and day dreaming (mostly daydreaming) of eating something sweet, something like Brinner ? (breakfast for dinner) Here is a recipe that is so sweet, you will literally be rolling dozens more.  I’m not a big fan of Nutella, but this time was an exception, It was amazing and I’m craving more as I am typing. Thank God, my sister is on a cooking spree, she’s making cinnabuns!

Back to the pancakes. I found this recipe on Pinterest  ( I just had to add “pinterest” to my dictionary.. keep up dictionary..)

Recipe adapted from The Wednesday Chef

110 grams (4 ounces) all-purpose flour

A dash of salt

2 eggs

200 milliters (7 fluid ounces) milk mixed with 75 milliters (3 fluid ounces) water

50 grams (2 ounces) unsalted butter

Pure Cane sugar

In a bowl, sift together salt and flour

Break eggs into the center of the flour mixture

Gradually add the milk and water mixture, whisking it into the flour and egg mixture

Mix and whisk until the mixture is lump free

Melt butter, and put two tablespoons into the mixture

Heat the pan , and put some butter onto the pan

Depending on the size of your pan (mine was fairly small) use two to three tablespoons of batter and spread it on the pan

Flip pancake over when it’s golden underneath

Take hot tasty pancake out of the pan and finally

Take a heaping spoon of nutella and spread it on the thin pancake

Roll, eat, Repeat!

Have a great Sunday!

Love, Dee!
