Taste the Rainbow!
Have you seen the Skittles Ad – Taste the Rainbow ? I’m pretty sure you have! One of my goals for this year is to Taste the Rainbow (not the skittles rainbow) but different food groups rainbow. I found this on Whole Living , and it shows healthy food groups that I really want to adapt to my eating habits. I’ve learnt while growing up that you can look OK and not be healthy or fit. My goal is to eat healthy and be fit! Hopefully this will help me or maybe you!
The Reds – Such as Melons, Tomatoes,Grapefruits, and Bell Peppers!
The Oranges such as Tangerines, Papaya, Carrots, and Oranges!
The Yellows such as Pineapples, Lemons, Corn, and Yellow peppers
The Greens – This is my favorite!! Such as Avocado, Kale, Spinach, and Green Beans!
The Purples – Such as Berries, Eggplant, and Grapes
If you go to this page, Whole Living gives recipes from each color of the rainbow! Hopefully we keep tasting the rainbow! (I know… cheesy..)!!
